What our clients say

Thankfully, Margo became a valuable and trusted resource in establishing, and advocating, for our parents short and long term care plans.

“My parents always gave me and my brothers their best, and at the end of their lives we were determined to give them ours.  We couldn’t have done that without Margo and PopRN advising us each step of the way.

At the ages of 80 and 85, both of my parents' health began to decline at the same time. Having very little to do with our parents day to day healthcare, my brothers and I quickly found ourselves in the driver’s seat with regard to every detail of their health, finances, and day-to-day living.  At the same time we each had our own children, jobs and lives to run. To say this was overwhelming would be an understatement.  Thankfully, Margo became a valuable and trusted resource in establishing, and advocating, for our parents short and long term care plans.  Initially advising us on short-term rehab options and home health care, she also guided me and my family through assisted-living, nursing and hospice-care planning for both of my parents, along with the incredible amount of insurance appeals, billing, staffing, and general care issues associated with each stage of their decline and end of life needs.

We cannot recommend PopRN and Margo enough.”

Margo supported us each step of the way, considering both safety and my father’s desire to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.

I am forever grateful for the services of Pop RN.  When my dad started having memory issues, Margo guided us through the many next steps.  As a nurse practitioner, I am very familiar with the health care system but accessing community resources for senior citizens was uncharted territory.  We had so many things to suddenly think about.  She directed us to community support services like meal delivery and homemaker services which allowed my father to remain in his home with his canine best friend.  Once that was no longer possible, she helped us to weigh options of where he should go next…apartment closer to family, senior housing, or assisted living.  We made a smooth transition and she even helped us find a place that would allow his canine best friend to come too!  I cannot tell you how much that meant to my dad and our family.  Margo supported us each step of the way, considering both safety and my father’s desire to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.  When he was hospitalized, she helped us select a reputable rehabilitation center and understand how insurance decisions regarding care and rehab are made, which allowed us to better advocate on his behalf as informed consumers.  Finally, once he was no longer able to live on his own, she supported us in the decision to move him into a long-term care facility. This involved assisting us with selecting a facility that was reputable and close to home, reviewing contracts and explaining the financial decisions involved.  I cannot recommend the services provided by  Pop RN enough in helping to navigate, understand and advocate for the best care options for your family member.

She made it easy for me to understand his plan of care…

Pop RN was invaluable when it came to managing
my dad's care. Working full time and being out of state made it impossible for me to do this on my own and Margo's local assistance was crucial in getting my dad the care that he needed. She made it easy for me to understand his plan of care, booked appointments at my request, and provided a comprehensive, easy to understand summary for second opinions. Margo is extremely responsive and easy to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for assistance in navigating the healthcare system. I will absolutely be calling on her again when necessary!

She was very caring and so helpful during this emotional time for our family.

I am in the healthcare field and had a very hard time helping my Aunt find a place for my Uncle after his near death experience. He was leaving the hospital on short notice needing dialysis and intense physical rehab. We were having a very hard time finding a nursing home/rehab facility that could take him so quickly and that could provide him dialysis. The hospital staff steered us in the wrong direction and the social worker was no help at all. We called Margo for help!

She was so attentive, professional and answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. She was very caring and so helpful during this emotional time for our family.  I would highly recommend Margo to anyone and would most definitely use her again.
